The Showdown will be played on the official start of the Ohio season on Thursday, Aug. 26 at Mason High School. Loveland plays Turpin at 5:30 p.m., followed by Edgewood against Wyoming at 8 p.m. Both games will be televised on Fox Sports Ohio, according to Gamble.
Wyoming, a Division III state semifinalist last season, returns several talented players, including senior-to-be quarterback Kyle Seyfried, senior-to-be defensive end/linebacker Eric Price and senior-to-be defensive end Tony Davis.
