The Wyoming Girl's HS Lax team travelled to Mariemont on Thursday night.  Both JV and Varsity squads came up short in their respective games.   The JV saw the debut of goalie Ellen Boster who recorded 8 saves despite the 4 to 8 loss.  Goals were scored by Ashley Moher (2) and Madelyn Taylor (2).  Annie Boster lead the team in Draw Controls with 6.

Behind a strong showing from the defense consisting of Grace Schneider, Emma Komrska, Grace Steiner, Lindsay Stewart, and Grace Steiner, Junior Goalie Claire Mellott had a solid performance recording 5 saves and holding an impressive Mariemont offense to just 9 goals, Mariemont's second lowest goal production of the season.  Cowboy scoring was held in check distributed between Maggie Hughes (2), Adi Smith (2), and Reilly Simmons (1) resulting in a final score 5 to 9.

Next up, Mt Notre Dame at Mt Notre Dame HS on Saturday; JV gametime at 1pm, Varsity at 2:30.
