The Girl's Varsity Lacrosse squad hosted the Miami Valley School (Kettering) Rams Monday night in the first round action of the 2015 State Lax Tournament.  The Cowboy's dominated draw control with an impressive 18 to the Rams 6 resulting coincidentally in a final score 18 to 6.  Draw Controls were lead by Grace Schneider, Lindsay Stewart, Emma Komrska, and Haley Stewart with 3 each, followed by Olivia Cunningham (2), Emily Wadds (2), Carly Schlager (1), and Grace Steiner (1).  Maggie Hughes lead the scoring with 5 goals, followed by Adi Smith (4), Reilly Simmons (3), Marielle Smith (2), Emily Wadds (2), Lindsay Stewart (1), and Haley Stewart (1).  Marielle Smith lead with 6 assists.  A strong team defense and mid-field play limited scoring opportunities for the Rams as Goalie Claire Mellot secured her 12th win of the season.
