Wyoming’s varsity Ultimate team extended their undefeated record to 7-0 with a 12-8 win over Taylor Sunday, and the JV picked up their second win of the year with a 8-6 comeback win over St. X/Ursaline Academy.

In the varsity game, the junior duo of Jaden Shapiro and Joe White again paced the Jackrabbits on the defensive and offensive ends.  Joe had four scoring throws and three goal catches, while Jaden had five and one.  Senior Michael Spurling and junior Max Brady each had one scoring throw and two catches.  Wyoming trailed 7-6 before finishing the game on a 5-1 run.  The Jackrabbits boys will participate in the Boys State tournament in Versailles next weekend for the first time in program history, after fishing third in the regional qualifier last weekend, before returning to Wyoming to team up with the girls to play Clark in the last co-ed game of the regular season Sunday afternoon.  Wyoming and Clark are the only two undefeated teams remaining in the league.

The JV trailed 6-2 before closing with a 6-0 to to close out the victory.  Senior Blake Wickstrom has two scoring throws and two goal catches, junior Eli Schvart had one and two, freshman Elliot Fuller had two and one, and sophomore Annmarie Spurling had two scoring throws.
