Slugging 'Till the End

Lisa Golden focused us on the positives from the Wyoming vs Taylor game on , Monday, April 14, 2014.

Wyoming started strong batting around against Taylor scoring 5 runs in the first.  Taylor came back with bats that were just as strong against sophomore pitcher, Madeline (MJ) Juergens, scoring 4 and then another 3 in the second.  By the top of the sixth, Taylor had scored 14 runs to Wyoming's 5.  The game was not over however as sophomore Nora Kovach started the inning off with her first hit of the season and was followed by hits by Michaela Fetter, Sophia Abrams, Reagan Raymer and Olivia Munneke scoring 3 more runs; however it was just  not enough to overtake Taylor's 14.  Final score was a Taylor win, 14-8.
