Bellbrook Gets Rung

The WHS Boys Lacrosse team improved its record to 2 – 1 with an convincing win over visiting Bellbrook Lacrosse Club Friday night.  Final score of the game was 11 – 4.  The Cowboys were led by senior Griffin O’Gara who scored 5 goals in the game.  Also scoring for the Cowboys were senior James McAllister, junior Andy Renggli (2), junior Oliver Reinecke (2) and sophomore Mason Rogers.  Junior Johnny Hughes contributed an assist and 4 ground balls controlled, while sophomore Jack Crider also had an assist and 3 ground balls controlled.  Junior goalkeeper Frank Barzizza continued his strong play with 5 saves in the game, and sophomore Nicholas Robles had 9 face off wins.
