Shut-Out Squared

Dynamic DOBO, John Brown keeps the reports coming.

April 10th
Another great win over Finneytown as the Cowboys' bats came alive as we won 14-0 in five innings.  Henry Moore pitched the complete game giving up just 3 hits.  Will Marty led the batting as he had 7 RBIs, including his first home run of the year in the form of a grand slam. Next up is against Taylor on Friday the 11th at home.
(Will Marty's home run ball held by starting pitcher Henry Moore. Sophomores Brendan Madden and Sam "Birthday Boy" Marty also supported in the winning cause.)

April 11th
The cowboys stayed hot this afternoon, defeating Taylor 6-0.  Joe Rominger threw a gem, allowing only 2 hits in all seven innings. Parker Chalmers started off the game hustling out a routine grounder to second base.  In the fifth inning Connor Eldredge laid down a clutch sacrifice bunt which ended up scoring 2 runs. Sam Izenson also scored two runs on the day.  We are now 5-3 (3-0 in the CHL).

Thanks to John Brown for the reports and the picture.
