Giving Them a Good Show

DOBO John Brown reported from the Indian Hill massacre.

A big away game today (April 21st) at league rival Indian Hill, and this game sure did live up to the rivalry it's known for. Tucker Marty was the starting pitcher tonight and went 6 and a third inning letting up only 2 hits. This kept the game tight as after 6 innings we were hanging on to a slim 2-1 lead.  This soon changed as our bats came alive in the top of the seventh. We scored 11 runs in the top of the inning, including a 3 run homer by Parker Chalmers. Parker also played a key role as he closed the game on the mound, keeping the shut out alive.
Up next is against league opponent Mariemont in our Coaches vs Cancer fundraising event (Wednesday, April 23rd at 6:30)! The game is at our home field at Crosely Park, with a $5 admission. This is a battle of unbeatens in the league so make sure you come out and support the team and a good cause!
