Great in the 8th

From DOBO John Brown
A very exciting win for the cowboys over CCD!  In a low scoring affair, the Cowboys were down 1-2 going into the bottom of the 7th.  After the first two batters got out, We needed some late game magic.  Prajit Goli was up to bat, and he was walked.  Parker Chalmers was then up to bat, and he hit a first pitch, 1 RBI triple to right center to tie up the game. In the top of the eighth, CCD scored a quick run to take the lead 2-3.  In the bottom of the inning, Henry Moore led off with a single to left field, and Dylan Guggenheim pinch ran for him. Casey Howell then laid down a sacrifice bunt to move the runner to second, but the pitcher overthrew the first basemen, leaving runners on first and second. Sam Izenson then bunted to advance the runners to second and third.  Tim Rice was then walked to load the bases with Prajit Goli back up to bat. Down in the count, Goli hits a 2 RBI single to score Guggenheim and Howell to win the game.  Sam Marty started pitching and pitched 5 innings, and Brendan Madden came in relief and threw 3 innings. A very exciting win, which makes us 9-4 on the year.
