The Empire Strikes Out

DOBO John Brown reported the awesome news from the game against league leader Madeira.

Big league win today at Madeira, 6-5! Michael Kelly started the game and threw 6 innings. Up 6-4 going into the bottom of the 7th, Henry Moore came in to pitch. Moore made sure to keep things interesting as we pulled off the win with the bases loaded ending the game with a strikeout. Kelly was also a leader batting-wise, batting in the go ahead run. Tucker Marty also went 2-3 scoring 2 runs. This puts the Cowboys at 15-6, 10-3 in the league.
