Tuesday, May 7th, the faithful showed a fierce disregard for mother nature as they laughed in the face of a cold rain to gather in honor the Seniors of the Girls Lacrosse team. Coach Crawford sent us the following report from the game.
The Girls HS Lacrosse team celebrated Senior Night with a win over Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy 16 to 3. Senior Co-Captain MJ Fischer scored once and had 3 assists while senior Co-Captain Carly Levick scored three times and had 1 assist. Other scorers included Adi Smith with 4, freshman Reilly Simmons, Maggie Hughes, and Claire Crawford with 2 each, and Emma Komrska and Marta Stewart each with 1. Assists were also recorded by Claire Crawford with 2, and Adi Smith and Marta Stewart each with 1. Team defense held CHCA to 9 shots of which freshman goalie Clare Mellott gathered in 5 saves.
Next up, an away game and season closer on Thursday (May 9th) with Centerville.
We didn't want to cause a scene, so we took their picture anyway. But someone really should have told these guys it was Senior Night... not Señor Night.
