Coach of the Year Travis Glendenning filled us in on Day 2 of the CHL Meet.
After a rain delay we got everything in last night (Friday, May 17th). The boys won the CHL with a team score of 117. Day 2 champions were Jalen Fox (100m & 200m) and the 4x100m Relay of Nicholas Woods, Asa Palmer, Ken Darlington, and Jalen Fox. Jalen led our scorers accounting for 22.5 points and Ben Stites added 18.5. The girls had a strong second day to sneak ahead of Taylor into 2nd place, just 4 points behind Finneytown. Kayla Livingston won both the 100 hurdles (in an unofficial, hand-timed school record of 15.12) and the 300 hurdles. She contributed a total of 32 points. It was an outstanding team effort as so many of our kids had their best performances of the season.
