The girls' tennis team went to Columbus Saturday and defeated Columbus Academy (the defending Division II State Champs) 4 – 1.
Winning matches for the Cowboys were:
Tess Thoreson - 6-2, 0-6, 6-4
Rise Sakaguchi - 6-2, 2-6, 6-2
Madison Bourbon-Maddie Boster - 7-5, 6-1
Ellen Koesterman-Rachel Berg - 1-6, 7-5, 6-4
In a match in which we were obviously weakend by our struggle against Columbus Academy, we lost to Upper Arlington (the defending Division I State Champs) 5 – 0
Next up: this afternoon at Seven Hills at 4 PM.
