Girls' tennis defeats Alter

The girls' tennis team defeated Alter 4-1 in the 2nd round of state team competition yesterday.

Ashley Berg lost 6-0, 6-3
Tess Thoresen won 6-4, 6-1
Meredith Hennessy won 6-1, 6-1
Madison Bourbon-Maddie Boster won 6-4, 7-5
Ellen Koesterman-Rachel Berg won 6-1, 7-5

The girls are now 11-2 on the season.

Next up in the state team tourney is Sweet 16 action vs. Indian Hill, although the date/location have not been scheduled.  We'll post that info when we get it.

Next up: today and Saturday at the Coaches' Classic at CHCA and Sycamore.
