Boys' golf update

On Tuesday 9/27, the Cowboys defeated the “B” team from Elder HS, 169 – 173 @ Wyoming Golf Club. Junior Max Wiethe was the medalist for Wyoming, posting a 41.

Yesterday, the Boys’ Varsity Golf Team concluded its season with a convincing 148 – 182 victory over Walnut Hills. Senior Adam Crider led the Cowboys with an even par 33 on the back nine of Avon Fields Golf Course. Senior Joshua McRae and Junior Max Wiethe also posted identical 38’s for the Cowboys, who finish the year with an overall record of 23 – 10.

The team season is now completed, while Adam and Henry Moore will compete next Thursday in Districts at Weatherwax for a berth to the State Championships the following week.
