WHEN/WHERE: 7:30 p.m. Friday, at Wyoming

WHAT TO WATCH: The Braves must shake off a devastating 34-20 loss to Taft in which they led, 20-12, going into the fourth quarter. They face a Cowboys team that lost its first two games against bigger schools before overwhelming Amelia last week. Wyoming sophomore quarterback Will Marty leads CHL passers with 45 completions and 720 yards. He’s also thrown for nine touchdowns with just two interceptions. His favorite target, senior Max Kadish, leads the league with 16 catches and 275 yards.

BOTTOM LINE: Wyoming opens defense of its CHL championship with a win.
