Senior Night Seconds

We gave you a preview of some Girls Soccer Senior night pictures HERE.  And now Kara Pendery gives us the rest of the story.

On Wednesday October 8th the women's soccer team took on Reading at home.  We recognized our 7 seniors:  Katie Dudek (#17), Briana Hall (#11), Olivia Munneke (#0),Greta Noll (#18), Bailey O'Hara (#14), Sonia Pendery (#13) and Roslyn Rathbone (#7).  Reading played Wyoming very aggressively and our girls answered back. Olivia Munneke and our defense held Reading scoreless.  

Two of our goals were scored off of beautiful PKs by Jasmine Evans and Kayla Hampton.  Jasmine and Kayla made it look easy!  Casey Jervier scored Wyoming's other goal off of an assist from Sonia Pendery.  As usual, Casey gets results by finding a way to finesse and crash her way to the net.  She had a beautiful shot from the middle of the field followed by one of her huge smiles.

The Cowboys want to thank everyone that came out for Senior night to support this team.  The stands were filled with students, parents, alumni, neighbors and friends.  The crowd was loud and entertaining!  I am sure the referees appreciated all the input from the stands throughout the night. Thanks so much to those that worked to make this a special night for the seniors.  A special shout-out to our fantastic announcer Jeff King for making this night memorable for the seniors.
