The Wyoming Varsity Men's Soccer team had their first game in the OHSAA State Soccer Tournament against Goshen. To put it politely, the Cowboys dominated. Tristan Kovach started things off with a fantastic cross to Nicholas Robles who put a beautiful finish on goal #1. After that the first half saw goals by Andy Renggli, Ivan Meisner, and Jay Klein. Second half, the Cowboys decided to round things out even and scored four more goals; Tristan Kovach, Andrew Derge, an awesome pop-up-touch over the goalies head from Jay Klein, and the best goal of the night...a header by Senior Ryan Knapp! Final score was Wyoming 8 - Goshen 0. Not a bad start to the tournament.
The guys move on to play Western Brown on Thursday at 7:00 pm at Home! Everyone come on out and show your support!
