Taylor Trounced

Wyoming was the first to score. Emily Rush made a great pass to Jules Snowden who knocked it in the net 7 minutes into the game.  17 minutes later, Taylor fired a shot just under the cross bar way out of any keeper's reach.  We were tied 1 - 1.  With 17 minutes remaining in the half, Kayla Hampton knocked one in, from the right side of the net, passing through the keeper's left hand, taking Wyoming back up on top, 2 - 1.  The Cowboys went into the half up by 1.  Taylor came back stronger in the 2nd half and we spent a lot of time on our end of the field.  With just under 12 minutes remaining in the game, Casey Jervier made a long run down the left side of the field, deflecting a handful of Taylor Yellowjackets.  She was heading to goal.  The goalie came out, Casey took a shot just to the right of the goalie, aiming for the far post.  Casey got the final Cowboy goal of the night.

Wyoming 3 - Taylor 0  !!

Next game is this Saturday, 9/13 at home, against Withrow.  JV @ 5 and VAR @ 7.
