The guys and girls Cross Country teams competed at the Greenon Invitational in Yellow Springs on Tuesday (September 9th). The guys won their first meet of the year, easily outdistancing their closest rival, host Greenon. Senior Ben Stites led the way for the Cowboys placing 1st overall in the race. Coming in close behind Ben were seniors Max Hoffman and Evan Cramer who placed 2nd and 4th, respectively. Rounding out the top Cowboy runners was junior Cullen O’Brien who placed 5th.
The girls team was once again lead by senior Katie Spray who placed 10th overall, followed by sophomores Whitley Elsass who placed 11th and Terra Forsythe who placed 12th. The girls team finished 4th out of 15.
This weekend both teams compete at the 44th annual Eaton Cross Country Invitational at Fort St. Clair Park in Eaton, Ohio.
