Well, it maybe unsportsmanlike to call it a slaughter, but that's what it was. The Wyoming Men's Varsity soccer team took on Taylor last night (Tues., Sept 9). The Cowboys took down Taylor 6-0. What did make it exciting is we have some new guys to list as scoring goals. We have the usual, Andrew Derge, Andy Renggli (with a Ben Derge assist), Jay Klein and a penalty shot by Toby Varland. But to add to those four goals, we also had goals scored by Christopher Rutter, with a head ball off a corner kick. And Seth Dewitt scored the final goal of the game.
Next game for the guys is Saturday, Sept. 13 at Colerain High School. JV plays at noon. Varsity plays at 2:00.
