The Turn Around

Tracy Payne reports for the JV Boys Soccer team.

The Wyoming JV Boys Soccer had a rough start to the season with a loss to Walnut Hills and several close games that they came up short on. But, things are starting to turn around now...last Saturday, August 30th the JV Boys tied Seven Hills at home with a terrific goal from sophomore, Kendall Eyman. 

This week Wyoming Boys JV Soccer team had a very exciting game vs Finneytown at home, Tuesday, Sept.2nd

1st Half Highlights:

Freshman striker, Trevor Payne shot from outside the box to the top left corner for a goal to start Wyoming off. Followed by a nice goal by freshman striker, Yima Nyamor, who beat the goalie to the ball and took the shot. Then Finneytown had a handball in the box and Trevor Payne took the PK for the next goal. Freshman striker, Brett Reichwein scored with a great header off Trevor Payne's corner kick.  

2nd Half Highlights:

Finneytown received foul just outside the box, Wyoming got a free kick taken and beautiful goal scored by Trevor Payne. Freshman, Zachery Herbert had an incredible assist from distance and Brett Reichwein scored another goal.  Late in the game the final goal by sophomore, Gabriel Cruz for an amazing 7-0 win over Finneytown.

The next game is away this Saturday, September 6th at 5pm JV and 7pm Varsity at Talawanda HS.
