This past Saturday the girls and guys cross country teams competed at the 44th Annual Eaton Cross Country Invitational at the beautiful Ft. St. Clair Park. The girls team finished strong once again, placing 2nd out of 15 teams. This was the girls third top 3 finish of the year. Senior Katie Spray placed 8th overall. Close behind Katie were Sophomores Terra Forsythe (9th) and Whitley Elsass (10th). Rounding out the scoring were Juniors Daniel McKee and Annie Spray.
Facing tough competition, the boys team placed 5th. Coming in 1st for the guys team was Senior Evan Cramer, followed by Senior Tanner Anthony and Junior Cullen O’Brien. This was a season best performance for the Cowboys, with the guy's team having twelve runners including the reserve team runners under 20 minutes.
This weekend both teams race at Cedarville Friendship Cross Country Invitational at the Elvin R King Cross Country Course in Cedarville, Ohio
