Tennis sectionals

Tennis sectionals were held at the Lindner Tennis Center in Mason starting Thursday.

In singles, Judy Carter's son Will won his opening round match against Mandybur (Indian Hill) 5-7, 7-6, 6-4.  He lost his second round match to Hirsch from CCD.

Mary Ann Montgomery's son Michael lost to Barlett (Mariemont) 6-2, 11-6, 3-6.

Maggie Prather's son Luke lost to Wittkugel (CHCA) 6-1, 2-6, 4-6.

In doubles, Eva Plattenburg's son Niki-Felicia Bourbon's son Myles defeated Walter-Simmons (Mariemont) 6-0, 6-2.  In their second round game, they lost to Head-Taio (Seven Hills) 2-6, 3-6.

Allison Mangas's son Alex-Barb Smucker's son Jeremy lost to Cohen-Tholke (CCD) 6-4, 4-6, 3-6.
