Girls' lacrosse

On Wednesday, May 9, the WHS Girls Varsity LAX team celebrated Senior Night with an exciting win over Walnut Hills, 7-6.



Seniors recognized before the game were Debra Boling's daughter Haley, Robyn Cramer's daughter Kelsey, Patsy Cress's daughter Laura, Elizabeth Duncan-Scruggs's daughter Brooke Duncan, Kathy Hughes's daughter Emily,  Barb King's daughter Julie, Mary Martin's daughter Allee, Audra Matthews's daughter Jess, Judy Miller's daughter Elana, Jodi Treadon's daughter Lexie Miller, Tonya Myers's daughter Danielle and Kathy Vamosi's daughter Ali.




The game was tied 6-6 until Jodi Treadon's daughter Lexie Miller scored the winning goal with 1:07 left in the game. A steal by Betsy Levick's daughter Carly (celebrating her birthday) with less than a minute left helped seal the victory.




Goals were scored by Jodi Treadon's daughter Lexie Miller (3), Betsy Levick's daughter Carly (2), Robyn Cramer's daughter Kelsey (1) and Maryann Hughes's daughter Maggie (1). One assist was recorded by Elizabeth Duncan-Scruggs's daughter Brooke Duncan.



Kathy Vamosi's daughter Ali had 17 goalie saves.
