Girls' lacrosse defeats CHCA

On Friday, May 11, the WHS Girls Varsity LAX team closed out the regular season with a win at home over CHCA, 20-9.

Eleven different players scored goals, including Suzanna Smith's daughter Adi (6), Barb King's daughter Julie (3), Judy Miller's daughter Elana (2), Jenny Schneider's daughter Grace (2), Audra Matthews's daughter Jess (1), Robyn Cramer's daughter Kelsey (1), Kathy Hughes's daughter Emily (1), Anne Fischer's daughter Mary Jane (1), Betsy Levick's daughter Carly (1), Ginger Crawford's daughter Claire (1) and Maryann Hughes's daughter Maggie (1).

Eight of the goals were scored off assists by Kathy Hughes's daughter Emily (2), Anne Fischer's daughter Mary Jane (1), Kim Stewart's daughter Marta (1), Ginger Crawford's daughter Claire(1), Suzanna Smith's daughter Adi (1), Jenny Schneider's daughter Grace (1) and Maryann Hughes's daughter Maggie (1).

Kathy Vamosi's daughter Ali and Lauren Wadds's daughter Emily split time in the goal, recording 13 goalie saves.
