Girls' lacrosse splits with Loveland

On Tuesday, May 8th, the WHS Girls LAX JV and Varsity teams split with Loveland at home.

The JV team won 9-4.

The Varsity team lost a heart-breaker in overtime, 13-12. Loveland scored the winning goal with 5 seconds left in overtime.

Goals were scored by Suzanna Smith's daughter Adi (6), Betsy Levick's daughter Carly (4), Flo Cunningham's daughter Olivia (1) and Robyn Cramer's daughter Kelsey (1).

Assists were recorded by Ginger Crawford's daughter Claire (1), Flo Cunningham's daughter Olivia (1) and Kim Stewart's daughter Marta (1). Lauren Wadds' daughter Emily had 18 goalie saves, including 3 in overtime.

Next up: tonight at home, JV vs. Walnut Hills at 5:30, Varsity vs. CHCA at 6:45 PM. 

Seniors will be recognized before the game.  Seniors are Debra Boling's daughter Haley, Robyn Cramer's daughter Kelsey, Patsy Cress's daughter Laura, Elizabeth Duncan-Scruggs's daughter Brooke Duncan, Kathy Hughes's daughter Emily,  Barb King's daughter Julie, Mary Martin's daughter Allee, Audra Matthews's daughter Jess, Judy Miller's daughter Elana, Jodi Treadon's daughter Lexie Miller, Tonya Myers's daughter Danielle and Kathy Vamosi's daughter Ali.
