Volleyball salutes seniors, downs Deer Park

The girls' volleyball team saluted its seniors and then defeated Deer Park Tuesday night 25-11, 25-5, 25-11.

Seniors Keely Galluzzo, Hanna Galloway, Bridget Bowling and Taylor Weis were recognized before the start of the varsity game.

Then the team sang the National Anthem.

Then they dispatched Deer Park to bring their record to 14-4 overall and 13-0 in the league.  They had previously captured the CHL championship.

It is their first title since 2007 when they shared it with Indian Hill. It's their first outright title since 2006 and their 6th overall in the CHL.

Next up: at Finneytown Thursday night (final league game) - JV at 5:30, Varsity at ~6:30.
