Tennis sweeps Finneytown in last team match

From our tennis stringer:

Wyoming swept all 5 courts in our final match of the season Wednesday against Finneytown.

Ashley Berg d. Warren 6-0, 6-0; Tess Thoreson d. Foster 6-0, 6-0; Meredith Hennessy d. Kananaugh 6-0, 6-0; Maddie Boster-Ellen Koesterman d. Gates-Taylor 6-0, 6-0; Camille Wilson-Stella Fischer d. Thompson-Ferraro 6-0, 6-1.

We recognized Stella Fischer, our senior. We wish her much luck and good wishes for a bright future!

It was a really great tennis season. We came in 2nd in the CHL. Thanks so much to Chris Hemingway, our head coach and Scott Boster, the assistant coach. The girls learned a lot, improved their games, and had lots of fun and friendship!

The team ended the season 8-7 overall and 6-1 in the CHL.
