We thank everyone who has offered thoughts, prayers, and memories of a man who, in our opinion and the opinion of many, was a legend among men. He never met a stranger and was modest in all that he did. While he was a very unassuming man, he was a giant. He was a coach, mentor, and friend to many who played youth sports in the City of Wyoming. Our family is not limited by children, nieces and nephews, and cousins. It includes the thousands of people who were influenced by Gene Pitman.
