Our own Athletic Director Dauntless (ADD) sometimes referred to as the Athletic Director High Deluxe (ADHD), Jan Wilking (Oak Hills '89), was inducted into the Oak Hills Athletics Class of 2015 Hall of Fame

Jan Wilking played both basketball and softball as a Highlander where she received a number of awards and recognition.
As a basketball player, she was 1st Team All MCC in '87, '88 and '89 when she was also player of the year. She was also 1st All City in '89. She was a member of the 1st Team All Southwest District in '88 and '89. She received Honorable Mention All- State in '89 and a member of the Runner-up Team in '86.
Wilking was the first female freshman student athlete at Oak Hills to letter in a Varsity sport and was the first female athlete to earn a full athletic scholarship. Jan attended University of Charleston where she played basketball. She played on a three time WVIAC Conference Champion and a three time NAIA National Tournament Qualifier (with a 1992 Elite 8 Appearance).
In softball she was 1st Team All MCC in '87, '88 and '89 while also being named player of the year. In 1989 she was also 1st city First Team and 2nd Team All District.
Jan was assistant varsity girls' basketball coach for 5 years at Oak Hills and head varsity girls' basketball coach for six years.
Wilking served as the Oak Hills Athletic Director for nine years is currently the Athletic Director for Wyoming City Schools. During her time with Oak Hills she led the million dollar field turf and half a million dollar fitness center capital campaigns. She also created the five-year strategic plan for the Athletic Department (grades 7-12). Wilking received the Ohio Athletic Administrator Horizon Award and served as the Vice President of the CMC.
She has served on the Ohio Southwest District Board and currently serves on the Ohio High School Athletic Association Diversity Committee.
She designed and implemented the Champions for Life, student athletic leadership team and the Captain's Council.
Wilking was inducted into the Oak Hills Local School District Hall of Honor in 2013.
