Matmen at the CHL

The Wyoming Wrestlers earned a runner-up finish at the CHL meet on Friday evening.They were in the lead the first 4 rounds, but just couldn't hold on to the lead because of the numbers. Reading finished as champions by placing 12 out of 13 wrestlers. Wyoming placed in all 10 weight classes represented. 

Placing for the matmen were:

126 Tefs: Runner-Up (second team all-league)

132 Hancock: 3rd place (Honorable mention)

138: Pitman: Champion (First team all-league)

145 Van Fossen: 4th place (Honorable mention)

152 Palmer: 3rd Place (Honorable mention)

160 Nyamor: Runner-Up (second team all-league)

170 Shields: Runner-Up (second team all-league)

182: Kremzar: Runner-Up (second team all-league)

220: Frankel: 3rd (Honorable mention)

285: Padnos: Runner-Up (second team all-league)

Next up for the Cowboys will be the sectional meet at Batavia on Friday and Saturday.
