The Matmen traveled to Madeira for the 45th Madeira Invitational this weekend. Noah Pitman and Asa Palmer led the way with 4th place finishes. Asa moved passed Coach Pitman on the win list as well. Palmer is now at 83 career victories. He also moved in 5th all-time with consecutive wins in a single season with 18.

Pitman worked his way to the consolation finals after a disappointing second round loss. Pitman earned his 40th career victory with a pin over his opponent from Hughes..

Next up for the Cowboys is they're Tri-match against Hamilton Badin and Northwest High School on Tuesday. They are at home on Saturday at the annual Wyoming Duals. Wrestling begins at 10 a.m. at the high school.
