Wrestling District Update:

The Wyoming wrestlers had some success on the first day at the Division II District tournament at Goshen.

Ike Palmer lost his first match, but came back to win his second round match with a major decision (12-4). Ike also recorded his 30th win of the season. Ethan Padnos lost his first match, but survived his second match with a 5-1 win. Cedric Simmons pinned his first opponent in a little over a minute. He lost his second match 5-10 to the predicted District-Runner Up. The second day of districts begins tomorrow morning (by now, today, Feb. 23). The top 4 placers earn their way to the state tournament. Each weight class began with the top 16 in the district and now are down to 12.

Also wrestling for the Cowboys were Asa Palmer and Joey Gallick.
