On Feb. 4th, the 8th Grade Girls Basketball Team beat Reading 38-15. This ironically is the same score that the Cowboys beat the Blue Devils by on Jan. 7th. Kayla Hampton led the scoring with 16 points, followed closely by Lauren Metz with 12, Emily Dudek with 8 and Isabelle Judge with 2. Wyoming controlled this game from the beginning, leading 8-0 after one period and 19-5 at halftime. This improves the record to 6-5.
On Feb. 5th, the WMS 8th Grade Girls Basketball team lost at Nagel Middle School Hill 32-27. Kayla Hampton led the scoring with 19 points, followed by Lauren Metz with 8.
The girls play their next game on Feb. 11th at Maderia.
