Cowboys Flummox Finneytown

Saturday, February 2, the Varsity Girls' Basketball team hosted Finneytown.   As the dust settled, our Cowboys won handily, 43-10.  Emily Wadds led the scoring with 13 points and rebounds.  Natalie Burchard and Ashli O'Neal both had 9 points.  Ashli also added 4 steals (she is currently third in the League in steals with an average of 3.2 per game).  The Stewarts both put in 4 points.  Marta also had 7 rebounds and Haley had a pair of them.  Kelsey Brunsman and Morgan Cunningham added 2 points each.  Morgan was only 1 for 6 (but is still sitting in 5th place in the League with her 40.9 Field Goal Percentage) and would have surley gone for more but was knocked out with an injury.  They improve their record to 11-8 (9-4 CHL).

As I write this, the girls are hosting Cincinnati Country Day for Senior Night, and will be travelling to Woodward on Thursday, February 7th at 7:30.
