Thoresen-Berg advance to state tennis tournament

The Wyoming girls' tennis doubles team of Tess Thoresen and Ashley Berg qualified yesterday for the state tournament by making it into the District semi-finals.

From the Enquirer:

Thursday’s first two rounds of the district tournament, which started at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason before being driven by rain into the Colonial Racquet Club in North College Hill, identified the singles and doubles semifinalists, all of which qualified for the state tournament.

The district tournament is scheduled to continue Saturday at the Lindner Center with semifinals and finals, which also will determine seedings for the state tournament.

Cincinnati Country Day freshman Danielle Wolf and Indian Hill senior Kasey Schumacher both qualified in singles, while Wyoming senior Tess Thoresen and Ashley Berg teamed up to qualify in doubles for the second time in the last three years.
