Boys' soccer downs Finneytown

After a first round bye, the boys' soccer team opened tournament play on Saturday night against Finneytown.  They came away with a convincing 6-0 victory.

Scoring for the Cowboys were Nathan Meisner, Cory Macke, Scott Perry, David Weinrich, Daniel Zimmerman and Evan Rajbhandari.

I have no opinion about whether what looks like a foul inside the box should have resulted in a penalty kick.  Please don't ask.

Harrison Glover recorded the shutout with six saves.

Next up: sectional finals Tuesday night at Madeira against Indian Hill at 7 PM.
