In breaking news, the football team defeated Deer Park Friday night 42-0.
The score is indicative of the way we dominated the game. The defense gave up just 24 yards on the ground, although Deer Park did pass for 197. But that adds up to less than half of the 456 yards of total offense that we had.
Our scoring came in twos - two touchdowns in the first, second and third quarters - two touchdowns each for Max Kadish (seven yard run, 50 yard reception), Phillip Schuholz (a pair of one yard runs) and Dominic Vamosi (a 34 and an eight yard reception).
The defense turned Deer Park over twice, with Mikey Gonzalez and Jaleel Allen each picking off a pass.
Will Marty was 12-20 for 241 yards with the aforementioned three TD's.
Phillip gained 146 yards rushing on 23 attempts. Terrell Dailey had the long run of the night when he ripped off a 22-yarder.
Max led the receivers with six catches for 131 yards.
The team is now 3-3 on the season, 2-1 in the CHL.
Next up: home on THURSDAY (not Friday) vs. Taylor, at 7:00 (not 7:30).
