Volleyball opens with win over Fairfield

The volleyball team opened its season at home on Saturday with a 25-18, 25-21, 21-25, 19-25, 15-6 victory over Fairfield.  It was very exciting for the lucky fans who got to see the match in air-conditioned comfort.

The team seemed to be cruising to victory after the first two games, only to see Fairfield mount a fierce comeback and take games three and four.

Taylor Weis immediately gave the advantage to the Cowboys in the decisive fifth game with her strong serves.
