Girls' Cross Country (led by Emily Stites' first place finish) 2nd, Boy's 3rd at Moeller Invitational
The girls' cross country team took second place in Saturday's Moller High School Cross Country Invitational at the Voice of America Park. Junior Emily Stites took first place with a time of 19:55.75, more than 52 seconds ahead of the 2nd place finisher. Sophomre Amelia Irvine was fifth at 21:17.88, junior Noel Demott 8th at 21:46.12, sophomore Sammy Schwartz 9th at 22:00.31, senior Alex Fraik 13th at 22:56.33, freshman Hannah Neal 17th at 23:00.38 and junior Olivia Schneider 18th at 23:12.28.

The boys' cross country team finished third. Our top finisher was junior Seth Gold who took 9th place with a time of 18:11.84. Sophomore Nate Johnson was next in 18th place with a time of 18:36.88, followed by junior Sam Rominger at 19th and 18:46.84, senior Michael Sagan - 23rd, 19:03.50, junior Andrew Tamanko - 24th, 19:04.03, junior Alex Mangas - 27th, 19:18.06 and senior Andrew Goertzen, 28th - 19:21.56.
