On Monday, Lakota West beat the girls' tennis team on 4 courts, but we were able to take a win in 3rd singles. Meredith Hennessy pulled off a close win - 6-4, 7-5. Ashley Berg at 1st singles (0-6, 1-6) and Tess Thoresen at 2nd (1-6, 2-6) as well as 2nd doubles team, Camille Wilson and Stella Fischer (1-6, 4-6) lost. The first doubles team of Maddie Boster and Ellen Koesterman battled for two plus hours before losing 6-7, 6-7.
Lakota East beat us today; again it was 4 courts to 1. For the sole win, it was once again Meredith Hennessy (6-3, 6-4). All the losses were in straight sets. Asheley (1,0); Tess (0,0); Maddie & Ellen (5-7, 0-6) and Camille & Stella (3,0).
These Division I schools were scheduled as opening matches to challenge our girls and to prepare them for the upcoming CHL matches.
