The girls basketball team defeated Madeira 48-32 last night at home. The win takes them to 13-3 on the year and 9-2 in the CHL. The game was never really in doubt as the Cowboys jumped out to an early 20-6 lead by the end of the first quarter.
In a shocking development, Nikki McKee had the hot hand with 18 points. She was a "stat sheet stuffer" adding 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals and a block. She is human though - she had a turnover.
Michelle Jolson tossed in 9, including a 3 pointer. Jane Streeter and Emily Fraik added 6 a piece, and Emily led on the boards with 7 'bounds.
Next up: Saturday at Deer Park. Varsity game at 2:30 (no JV game listed).
