The girls basketball team had a rare Friday-Saturday double-header, compliments of the recent snow, or as they spell it in Louisiana, sneaux.
On Friday they went to Taylor and posted a 57-28 victory. They jumped out to a 27-11 halftime lead and cruised to victory. Nikki McKee led the way with 22 points, 6 rebounds, 6 steals, 3 assists and 3 blocks. Sudy Graham grabbed 9 boards, and had 8 points and 2 blocks.
On Saturday they beat Deer Park 76-31. It was another game that was over early with the girls posting a 16-3 first quarter and 34-10 halftime lead. Those having a big game include:
Nikki McKee - 27 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals, 3 blocks
Hailee Schlager - 10 rebounds, 7 points, 6 assists, 2 steals
Sudy Graham - 8 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal
Michelle Jolson - 10 points, 4 steals, 3 assists
Those two wins take the Cowboys to a 15-3 record, 11-2 in the CHL.

Nikki - 1st in scoring at 19.3 points per game, 1st in steals with 4.7 per game
Michelle - 4th in assists at 3.1 per game,
Sudy - 5th in field goal percentage at 50.0%
Emily Fraik - 5th in blocks at 1.2 per game
Next up: Home vs. Finneytown tonight - Varsity only at 6. Game is on - it will not be postponed due to sneaux.
