Boys b-ball advances with 52-46 win over CNE

The boys basketball team advanced to the 2nd round of playoffs with a 52-46 win over Clermont Northeastern last night at Mason.

It was a weird game in that our team seemed easily superior to CNE, but we could never quite pull away and breathe easy.  It seemed every time I looked at the scoreboard expecting us to be up by double digits, we were instead ahead by just six.

Tony Davis and Kyle Seyfried led the scoring with 12 points each.  Kyle's points include three 3-pointers.  By the way, Tony ended the regular season fourth in the CHL in scoring (15.4 ppg) and first in rebounding (12.1  rpg).  Eric Price led the league in blocked shots (3.5 bpg) and was fourth in rebounding (8.7 rpg).

I have to admit, I was completely unaware of this drama during the game.

Next up: Indian Hill, Wednesday at Mason 6 p.m.  Bracket

We're 0-2 vs. Indian Hill this year but were undermanned when we played them at their place and lost by just 2 points at home on February 19th.
