The boys basketball team defeated Finneytown 79-73 last night at Finneytown. The win improves their record to 10-6 overall, 8-4 in the CHL.
The Cowboys came back from a 5 point half time deficit to tie the game 46-46 at the end of the third quarter. Both teams went on a scoring spree in the fourth with Wyoming netting 33 and Finneytown 27. The 79 total points marked the first time this season that the Cowboys tallied in the seventies.
Jacob Allsop led all scorers with 15. Also in double figures were Eric Price with 13, and Tony Davis, Jonathan Tighe and Kyle Seyfried with 11 each. This was Kyle's first action since being out with mono after the January 2nd game at Mason.
Next up: at home vs. Taylor on Saturday - freshman at 4:30, JV at 6 and Varsity at 7:30.
