Girls' Basketball Mid-Season Report

At the halfway point of the season, the girls basketball team is ranked #6 in the city with an overall record of 9-1, and is currently first in the CHL with a 6-1 league record. Our success so far has been a complete team effort, with someone different stepping up to make plays each night. Sophomore point guard Ashli O'Neal leads the team and CHL in scoring (14.8 points a game), steals (5.2 a game), and is second in the CHL for assists (3.7 a game). Also ranked in the top 5 in the CHL is sophomore Haley Stewart (3rd in assists and 5th for rebounds and blocks per game), and senior Natalie Burchard is ranked third in steals with 3 a game.
