Super Win on Senior Night

It was a night made for the seniors at Oct. 8th's Reading game, but it was a freshman who ensured the win.
 The Wyoming boys senior soccer players all took the field at the start of the Reading game Tuesday (October 8th) for one of their last regular season games under a beautiful, clear evening sky.  A packed crowd cheered the Cowboys as they dominated their opponent with skilled passing and several shots on goal throughout the first half.  Despite their efforts, they ended the first half with no score on the board.

It was the second half where the Cowboys put the ball in the goal, thanks to some help from their younger teammate, freshman Andrew Derge.  At the 22 minute mark in the second half, Andrew scored, followed by a second goal only 2 minutes later.  Andrew sealed the win with a third goal late in the game, all with the help of skilled passing from his teammates, shutting out Reading with a score of 3-0.

The senior boys and their parents were honored at halftime.  This year's seniors are Lucas Corbier, Logan Draper, Ryan Derge, Ben Fershtman, Jared Heidotting, Tyler Hill, Matthew Lethander, Nolan Prevish, Chris Viens, Drew Wayman.
