Cowboys Heading to State

Ellen Koesterman won her first round singles match at districts defeating Northeastern, 6-1, 6-1, but lost her second round match to Carroll.

The Haley Thoresen -- Maddie Boster doubles defeated CCD in round one, 6-0, 6-0 and defeated Oakwood in round two, 6-2, 6-2.  They lost to Alter third round 6-2, 2-6, 5-7, but came through and then defeated Oakwood playing for 3rd seed at state, 6-2, 6-3.

 

Both Haley and Maddie advance to State tournament next weekend -- Friday and Saturday, October 19 and 20.  Check out match Tournament information from the OHSAA website HERE
