A Shout Out for the Shut-Out

Bob Carter sent us the following report from the Boys JV Soccer team's game against Reading. 

 

It was a great day for soccer when the Boys JV team took on the Reading Blue Devils on Tuesday (10/8).

The team kept the pressure on Reading from the opening whistle, taking 10+ shots on goal in the first half, and scoring two times. At the half, the Cowboys were up 2-0. In the second half, the Cowboys continued to play with intensity and kept the ball on the Reading half of the field for most of the time – and converted 3 more times, while the defense combined to preserve the shut out. At the closing whistle, the Boys JV soccer team won 5-0!

 

The final Boys JV Soccer home game is on Thursday at 5pm – come out and cheer them on!
